ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Liz and I'm a current student at Upper Dublin High School. My love for art started when I was just 3, drawing tall ladies with flowers on their heads every chance I got. Now, art has become not only a passion of mine, but an escape from difficult realities -- and I owe it my life.
My artwork is mainly Inspired by the baroque art period, where I enjoy
manipulating shadows and light to portray a subject’s most vulnerable moments. I aim to reflect loneliness, serenity, human fragility, and the brevity of life all in a snapchat of time.

Most importantly, I am passionate about exploring the intersectionality between art, and identity. As an avid activist for environmental change, mental health, refugees/internally displaced peoples, and equal rights, I paint many artworks to spread awareness about prominent topics and injustices. Recently, my work focuses on capturing unconventional ideas and taboo visuals, specifically to tell stories from voices who are unrepresented or forgotten in my community. Ultimately, I believe in the power art to help not only reclaim, but elevate the forgotten narratives of our communities.
